Natalia Kukulska will visit Teatr Muzyczny Roma in Warsaw as part of her jubilee tour “Is She Like Me?”.
Natalia Kukulska has remained at the forefront of the Polish music scene for years. Her body of work includes 15 solo albums, with total sales exceeding one million copies. Her music has received numerous awards, and she has performed on major stages both in Poland and abroad. She consistently follows her own artistic path, taking on new challenges while keeping her recognizable style.
The current tour has a jubilee character and combines several anniversaries. It marks 30 years since the release of the album “Światło” (“Light”), which opened the mature stage of her career. 40 years ago her children’s record “Natalia” was released, and the artist is celebrating her 50th birthday.
The concert programme will include songs from the albums that shaped the musical sensibility of a whole generation in the 1990s, as well as compositions from the album “Sexi Flexi”, an important moment in the development of a modern sound on the Polish market. There will also be material from the “Czułe struny” (“Tender Strings”) project and songs recorded for Disney films and feature films, plus a symbolic return to her childhood hits, for which Natalia received Polish phonography’s first-ever platinum record for a children’s album.
New arrangements were prepared for an expanded line-up. The concerts also feature the Atom String Quartet, whose presence brings a chamber sound and a fresh perspective to well-known compositions.
