Mateusz Smoczyński received two nominations in this year’s Fryderyk Awards. The first is for his original album Fallen Angel, recorded with Dominik Wania and the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw under the direction of Michał Klauza. The second nomination was awarded to the album Christmas with Atom String Quartet, recorded with Atom String Quartet.
Both albums were released by Warner Music Poland and were nominated in the same category: Classical Album of the Year – Crossover.
