Mateusz Smoczyński will perform together with Branford Marsalis! They will perform “2PiX,” a double concerto for saxophone, violin, and orchestra by Smoczyński, inspired by the TV series Twin Peaks.
The soloists will be joined by the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, conducted by Michał Klauza. Branford Marsalis will also perform Fantasia for saxophone, three horns and string orchestra by Heitor Villa-Lobos. The concert will take place on 7 July 2024 at 9:00 PM in Radziejowice, as part of the 15th Jerzy Waldorff Summer Festival. Admission is free.
